From July 26th to 27th, the 10th National Congress of the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association was held in Beijing. Huang Kunming, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. New members were elected to the 10th Council of CFLAA, including Professor Chen Lizhong, president of the Academy of Arts and Crafts of FPNU.

The Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association was founded in 1950. The 10th National Congress of the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association was attended by 252 delegates of folk literary and artistic circles from all parts of China, among whom 8 are from Fujian Province. （Academy of Arts and Crafts of FPNU）
