Recently, in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM) 2022 sponsored by Higher Education Press, the student teams from FPNU’s School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence were awarded one provincial second prize and one national second prize.

       The winners are Data Computing and Application majors (Grade 2020). The team that consists of Lin Hemin, Wu Xiaojun and Cai Liujing was tutored by Chu Tianding and won the national second prize. The other team, which is composed of Xie Feihui, Zhu Zongquan and Chen Wanfeng, won the provincial second prize with You Wenjie as their supervisor.

      Founded in 1992, the CUMCM is one of the first 19 contests listed in the National Ranking of College Student Academic Competitions in China.
