On the afternoon of June 30, researcher Fu Qisheng, member of the Party Group of Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (FPDCT) and director of Fujian Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage (FPBCH), was invited to FPNU to give a guidance report forthestudyclass ofpartyhistorylearningeducation of FPNU. Lai hairong, secretary of FPNU Party Committee, presided over the report. Presented at the event were FPNU leaders, principals and principals of Party members of all FPNU units.

Themed on“Retrospect and Reflection on the century-old party history”, Director Fu Qishengmade manifest the endeavors and historical enlightenment of the Communist Party of China through three chapters: take oath to practice our original aspirations and missions, overcome difficulties to lay the foundations and redouble efforts to create a brilliant future. Featuring a close integration with revolutionary cultures of Fujian province, the report applied a full range of materials, including revolution-themed films and TV works, as well as historical materials and relics. Proceeding from the big picture, the reportcontains rich connotations andprofound thoughts. The report integrates history and theory with reality and practice respectively, which made itappealing and inspiring.

When presiding over the meeting, Secretary Lai Hairong pointed out that we should considerthestudyclass ofpartyhistorylearningeducation as a new start, further improve our political stance, strengthen the sense of responsibility, and further implement the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. Based on the tasks of fostering virtue through education, promoting stable reform and development of universities, and addressing concerns of faculty and students, local governments at all levels should fulfill due responsibilities and better implement the plans and arrangements, bring together the strength to accelerate the high-quality development of universities, thus marking the centenary of the CPC with outstanding achievements.
