On the afternoon of March 15, the appointment ceremony was held in FPNU. Chen Zhong, Vice President of Fujian Arts & Crafts Society, the first President of Fuzhou Wood Carving Industry Association and Provincial Arts and Crafts Master, was appointed as a Visiting Professor of the School of Culture, Media and Law. President Liao Shenji presented the letter of appointment to Mr. Chen Zhong and wore the school emblem for him. Other attendees included the Director of the Personnel Department, the head of the Party and administrative affairs of the School of Culture, Media and Law, and representatives of teachers and students.

President Liao Shenji welcomed and thanked President Chen Zhong for accepting the appointment. He hopes that President Chen Zhong would give full play to his professional advantages, actively participate in the construction of the major of Arts and Crafts and the talent training, actively help the construction of "double-qualified teacher" teams, actively promote school-enterprise cooperation and collaborative education, and inject new impetus into the construction of a high-level technical normal university with distinctive characteristics.

President Chen Zhong thanked FPNU for its trust. He said, he is deeply honored and excited to be engaged in teaching in Colleges and Universities in his hometown, and will do his best to serve the high-quality development of FPNU with heart and mind.
