Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Fujian Province announced the list of 2021 Projects of Science and Technology Innovation Platform for “One Belt, One Road” Foreign Cooperation in Fujian, and the Fujian-Indonesia Joint Research and Development Center for Marine Food applied by FPNU was on the list.

As FPNU’s first provincial science and technology innovation platform approved, the Fujian-Indonesia Joint Research and Development Center for Marine Food is led by Professor Xiang Leiwen in the School of Food and Biological Engineering of FPNU. The Center, jointly established by FPNU, Bogor Agricultural University and IPMI International Business School, aims to strengthen international academic exchanges and cooperation, enhance integrated innovation in marine food processing technology, and build a distinctive platform to serve countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”, providing services and support to drive the transformation and upgrading of the China-Indonesia “two countries, two parks” industry.
