On the afternoon of May 18, FPNU held a working video conference to discuss the inter school cooperation with Jakarta Nanyang School.  Member of Jakarta Nanyang School board Yang Guiwen, Principal of its Middle School, and Director of Chinese Department attended the meeting online. The heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of FPNU, the School of Overseas Education and the School of Culture, Media and Law attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides watched the publicity videos of both schools and briefly introduced the basic school-running conditions for each other.

The two sides then had a heated discussion on how to carry out cooperation in the education curriculum of Chinese traditional culture. Relying on the existing demonstration base for excellent traditional Chinese culture education, as well as teachers from relevant colleges and universities in Fujian Province, FPNU will provide teaching support for Jakarta Nanyang School in calligraphy, Chinese Studies and other subjects. Jakarta Nanyang School will actively publicize FPNU and encourage its students to study here.

Jakarta Nanyang School, located in Banten, Indonesia, is a private international school with trilingual teaching (English, Chinese and Indonesian), covering preschool education, primary education and middle school education. Its was first built in 1904. In 2012, the school was reconstructed and established by a group of entrepreneurs. Mr. Lin Hongxiu, Chairman of Rongqiao Group and known as a famous Chinese entrepreneur, was among them as the main founder.
