On May 19, the dorm building No. 1 and No. 2 in Expansion Area A of FPNU Wuma Mountain Campus were both successfully roofed. The university representatives and the construction unit witnessed this festive moment together, including the university authorities Lai Hairong, Liao Shenji, Lin Haifeng, Zhang Yi and Shang Guangmei, and the personnel of the Party and Administration Office, Publicity Department, and Logistics Management Office.
The successful roofing of the two buildings marks that new campus construction projects get off to a good start. Covering a construction area of 12,400 square meters, the project has included 204 dorm rooms and 3 elevators. It adopts prefabricated construction and seismic mitigation and isolation techniques, which better meet the new national requirements for green building, energy conservation, environmental protection, and construction safety.
During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, FPNU will further strengthen infrastructure construction to enlarge its school-running space and optimize the functional layout of its campus. This way, it strives to provide a strong and high-quality guarantee for accelerating the construction of high-level technical normal colleges with distinctive features. According to the construction plan, the Lin Lianxing Science and Technology Building, which is now under construction, is expected to be roofed this November. The preliminary works of other construction projects are accelerating, including the student dorm buildings No. 3 and 4 in the Expansion Area A and the south area on Wuma Mountain Campus, and the Yuanhong Campus.
