On May 30th and June 1st, Office of Student Work of FPNU co-hosted a two-day on-site and live job fairs in Fuqing Industrial Park with Fuzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Fuqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Rongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Administrative Committee of Jiangyin Port Economic Development Zone, and Fuqing Integrated Media Center. About 200 FPNU graduates and their guidance counselors entered the live streaming room to attend the job fair.
Lin Hezhi, Deputy Mayor of Fuqing City, together with the heads of relevant departments, introduced the government policies on talent introduction and retention on the first day of the live streaming event.
During the livestream, the enterprise representatives introduced corporate culture, job positions, salaries, and welfare through corporate promotional videos and slide presentations. They interacted with the graduates and helped match them with the enterprises. The two-day live job fairs, livestreamed simultaneously on multiple platforms like WeChat Channels and TikTok, provided nearly 1,300 job positions and attracted 647,000 livestream views.
Chen Hao, a 2022 Food Science and Engineering graduate of FPNU, says that the livestream is truly beneficial for the graduates. It helps them get employment information and know more about career development and promotion. It also offers them opportunities to communicate face-to-face with well-known enterprises, which helps to further clarify their career planning and make rational career choices.
