Recently, the last beam of the Lin Lianxing Science and Technology Building had been placed, and the topping-out ceremony for the building was held.

  On behalf of the school, President Liao Shenji once again expressed his sincere thanks and wishes to Dr. Lin Lianxing, an Indonesian overseas Chinese leader who donated to build this building. He pointed out that the construction of the building fully displayed the concern and support of the Fuqing Municipal Party Committee and Government, overseas compatriots, and all sectors of society for the development of our school. He expressed his hopes for the good quality of the building project, and also hoped that teachers and students should keep the momentum so as to better develop our university and contribute to the society.

On behalf of the Fuqing Municipal Party Committee and the Fuqing Municipal People's Government, He Yujin, member of the Standing Committee, expressed warm congratulations on the successful topping-out of the building and expressed heartfelt thanks and high respect to Dr. Lin Lianxing for his good deeds. He affirmed the positive role played by FPNU, and hoped FPNU would provide stronger knowledge support, scientific and technological support, and talent support for the development of Fuqing.

Lin Lianxing Science and Technology Building was built by Dr. Lin Lianxing, the chairman of Harita Group, with a donation of 10 million yuan. It is located in the south area of the school's Wumashan campus, with a total construction area of nearly 6000 square meters and a total of 12 floors. At present, the main project construction has been completed. After the building is completed and put into use, it will play an important role in improving school conditions, optimizing the facilities, beautifying the campus environment, and improving the school image.
