On the afternoon of March 16, President Liao Shenji and Vice President Shang Guangmei led a team respectively to visit two campuses and carry out campus safety inspection work.

The inspection team went to guardhouse, student union base, student entrepreneurship incubation base, laboratories, student dormitories, canteen, the newly built steel structure classrooms, the construction sites and other areas, focusing on fire safety, electricity safety, traffic safety, laboratory supplies management, safety protection measures of student dormitories, escape route, kitchen safety management and food hygiene management. At every place, the inspection group examined carefully, listened to the report of relevant principals, communicated with front-line staff and students, and put forward rectification requirements.

President Liao Shenji pointed out that all departments should stick to teachers and students centered development, adhere to the bottom line thinking, and focus on risk points and hidden dangers. They should concentrate on key areas and weakness of campus safety work, speed up investigation and rectification, effectively find out the hidden dangers and  achieve closed-loop management, improve campus safety and create a stable and healthy campus environment.

Principals of General Office, Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, Logistics Management, Office of Asset Management, Office of Infrastructure Construction, Office of Security (People’s Armed Forces Department) and other relevant departments participated in the inspection activity.
