On the morning of March 13, Miao Xiongping, Deputy Party Secretary of Xiamen Ocean Vocational College, led team to FPNU for investigation and exchange. Vice President Chen Zhiyong presided over investigation forum. Relevant heads of Office of Academic Affairs, the School of Marine Science and the School of Continuing Education participated in the forum.

Deputy Party Secretary Miao Xiongping introduced the basic information of XMOC. He expects to fully make use of the advantages of universities, strengthen the construction of their marine-related dominant disciplines, and improve levels of education.

On behalf of FPNU, Vice President Chen Zhiyong expressed welcome to Deputy Party Secretary Miao Xiongping and his delegation, and showed his expectations for deepening cooperation between two universities. He briefly introduced basic information of our university and the measures to serve vocational education development.

Two sides conducted in-depth communication on major construction, integration of enterprises with vocational schools and universities, construction of teaching staff, talents training mode, bachelor degree evaluation, teaching ability competition training and some other aspects.
