On December 28, 2024, an academic seminar on Huangbo Culture and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind was successfully held in FPNU. The seminar was attended by leaders including Tu Rong, the party secretary of FPNU, Chen Wenzhang, vice chairman of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, Zhang Chunbin, vice chairman of the Fuzhou Federation of Social Sciences and Weng Fangming, chairman of the Fuqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The opening ceremony was presided by Liao Shenji, director of the provincial humanities and social science research base in colleges and universities Huangbo Culture Research Center, and dean of the Huangbo Culture and Maritime Silk Road Research Institute of FPNU. More than 80 experts and scholars from universities such as Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, and Minzu University of China participated in the seminar.
