To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, deepen cultural and people-to-people  exchanges between the two countries, and showcase the achievements of FPNU's Indonesian language program and the effectiveness of international      talent cultivation, on the afternoon of May 18th, the 2025 Indonesia Cultural Festival, jointly organized by the Overseas Education College, the School of   Foreign Languages, the Indonesia Research Institute, the Fujian International Communication Center and the Fuzhou Association of Indonesian Students in China, was successfully held in FPNU.The event featured multiple experience zones such as Indonesian cuisine tasting, folk game interaction and Indonesian clothing photo-taking. Traditional games like Kang Clark and Giving Thumbs were very popular. A total of over 50 international students from 14 universities both within and outside the province participated in the cultural festival.  Ben Perkasa Drajat, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia   in Guangzhou, and Cristine Siregar, Cultural Consul,  as well as Vice President Jiang Xingshan attended the event.

Ben Perkasa congratulated the successful holding of the Indonesian Cultural Festival. He said that this event is an important platform for celebrating friendship and strengthening people-to-people exchanges, providing a significant opportunity to enhance mutual understanding between the people   of  the  two countries and build stronger ties. He encouraged international students to keep studying hard, build brotherhood and make positive  contributions to enhancing the friendship between the two countries.
