From August 23 to 24, the final of the "Chinese Bridge" World University Students' Chinese Language Competition was grandly held in Pingtan. Leaders from the Ministry of Education and Fujian Province attended the event together with about 300 contestants and members of the observation delegation from all over the world.   

During the event, FPNU, as one of the universities being granted the scholarship program of the Center for Language Education and Research of the Ministry of Education, along with five other universities including Xiamen University, Fujian Normal University and Huaqiao University, took part in the concurrent "Study in Fujian" Education Exhibition, promoting Fujian's higher education resources and study environment to global contestants and international visiting groups. Staff of FPNU systematically introduced the policies on recruiting international students, achievements in talent cultivation and educational characteristics through various forms such as display boards, brochures and on-site explanations, comprehensively showcasing the advantages of FPNU in international exchanges and cooperation.
