The opening ceremony took place at Juchunyuan Convention & Exhibition Hotel on the evening of April 17. On April 19, the themed concert of the exchange event was staged at the Concert Hall of the Strait Culture and Art Center. Chinese and foreign youth chorus groups jointly performed a number of classic works, presenting the charm of cross-cultural communication through pure artistic expression, with nearly 1,000 spectators witnessing this musical feast.

The event also featured master workshops, urban street performances, and campus exchange sessions. Youth chorus groups from various countries paired up with 14 primary and secondary schools in Fuzhou respectively. Through immersive interactions such as intangible cultural heritage experiences and sports fraternity activities, cultural barriers were bridged, and profound friendships were forged amid exchanges.

Farewell with Melodies, Looking Forward to Future Reunions

More than 300 participants attended, including conductors and teacher-student representatives of youth delegations from various countries, principals of primary and secondary schools in Fuqing, and media journalists. Attending leaders presented participation certificates and commemorative gifts to all participating teams.

As a concrete practice to implement the initiative of youth exchanges between China and foreign countries, this event serves as a comprehensive aesthetic education curriculum integrating universities, primary and secondary schools with an international vision. It has built an important platform for civilizational mutual learning and artistic exchanges among Chinese and foreign young people.
