On June 8, the first stage of the event "International Friends Exploring Fujian" hosted by Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office was held in Fuzhou. A total of 11 participants attended the event, including overseas directors of Fujian People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, experts, teachers, and business executives from the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Japan, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries. Davin James Drew, a foreign teacher of our school, was also invited to the event. This event aims to enhance their understanding of Fujian and promote international exchanges and cooperation.

During the event, Davin and other international friends gathered together to taste traditional Fujian cuisine and share their living and working experience here. They also visited several enterprises and Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District to understand the latest development in Fujian in terms of digital economy, green economy, marine economy, and cultural and tourism economy.

Davin said Fujian is a livable city with beautiful landscapes and fresh air. The economy here is also advancing with a bright prospect. He truly loves everything here in Fujian. (Office of International Cooperation and Exchange)
