On June 15, FPNU held the final of the Career Planning Competition. Lin Haifeng, the Deputy Party Secretary of FPNU, attended the activity. Other attendees included the main person in charge of Office of Student Work, persons in charge of student work in each college, counselors, instructors and student representatives from each college.
A total of 47 works were received, and after online evaluation by experts, 10 works were selected to advance to the on-site final. The finalists' career positioning involved six categories, including university teachers, secondary school teachers, civil servants, film and television producers, new energy researchers and children's book editors. The finalists presented from the perspectives of self-exploration, career exploration, career decision-making, implementation paths and assessment adjustments, and answered the questions raised by the judges.
As a result, Lin Huimin, an English major of 2019, won the first prize; Zheng Ruojie, a Packaging Engineering major of 2019 and Xie Suyu, a Chinese Language and Literature major of 2020 won the second prize; Zheng Yizhen, a Chinese Language and Literature major of 2020, Lin Mengting, a Physical Education major of 2021 and Wang Yiting, a Chinese Language and Literature major of 2020 won the third prize. Three teachers, including Dong Lin from Youth League Committee, Fang Chenyan from the School of Materials and Environmental Engineering, and Zhong Enwei from the School of Culture, Media and Law, were awarded as excellent instructors.(Office of Student Work)
