On March 31, Lai Hairong, Secretary of FPNU Party committee, paid a visit to Fujian Provincial Health Commission. Zhang Guoan, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy Director of the Provincial Health Commission, warmly received Secretary Lai and his delegation, and held a discussion for exchange.  

At the discussion, Secretary Lai introduced the development history, the scool-running orientation and other basic information about FPNU, as well as the our plans to apply for medical related majors. He hopes that the provincial Health Commission would support and guide the application for medical-related majors, help to expand the school-running pattern, so as to better serve the big health industry and provide talents support for the Healthy China initiative and the development of health undertakings in our province.

Deputy Director Zhang Guoan gave positive feedback to our efforts to integrate disciplines and prepare for the application of medical majors. He pointed out that medical education is an important cornerstone of the development of health cause. The comprehensive promotion and construction of a healthy Fujian cannot work without the support of relevant talents. He encouraged us to participate in the training of practical health talents and make contributions to the public health cause of our province. He said that the provincial Health Commission will actively support us to apply for rehabilitation therapy and other medical related majors.

The relevant official in charge of Science Technology and Education Department of the provincial Health Commission introduced the overall situation of medical specialty, personnel training and social demand in undergraduate universities, secondary and higher vocational schools in Fujian province.
