On April 9th, the first Fujian Provincial Roller Skating Championship for College Students, hosted by the Fujian Province College Student Sports Association, concluded perfectly in Dehua, the world capital of ceramics. The team of FPNU performed well in the competition, winning the second place in the group total score of Division B and the seventh place in the group total score of Division A. Moreover, it earned a total of five gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals, as well as three fourth places, one sixth place, three seventh places, and one eighth place. The team was led by Li Fengcheng, Vice Dean of School of Physical Education, and coached by Guan Chentao, professor of School of Physical Education and instructor of FPNU Roller Skating Association.

The following FPNU team members won a total of five gold medals. Ke Wei majoring in Social Sports Guidance and Management, Grade 2021, won the gold medals in men's 200-meter race and men's 3000-meter race in Division B. Yu Ruobing, a 2019 student from the same major won the gold medal in women’s 500-meter race in Division B. Zhang Shihan, a 2020 Physical Education major, won the gold medal in the women’s 3000-meter race of Division B. Zhang Jingshan, a 2022 Marketing major in the School of Economics and Management, Yao Tingting, Qiu Jieyu, and Duan Meifu, 2021 Preschool Education majors in the School of Education, won the gold medal in the women’s 4*200 meter relay race of Division A.

The following team members won three silver medals in total. Zhang Jingshan won the silver medal in the women’s 3000-meter race of Division A. Zhou Yujie, a 2020 Physical Education major in the School of Physical Education, won the silver medal in the women’s 500-meter race of Division B. Ye Linpei, Ke Wei, Chen Ruihua, 2021 Social Sports Guidance and Management majors, and Jiang Renrong, a 2019 student of the same major, won the silver medal in the men’s 4*200 meter relay race of Division B.

The following members won a total of four bronze medals. Ye Linpei won the bronze medal in the men’s 1000-meter race of Division B, Yu Ruobing won the bronze medal in the women’s 200-meter race of Division B, Zhang Shihan won the bronze medal in the women’s 1000-meter race of Division B, and Yao Tingting won the bronze medal in the women’s 3000-meter race of Division A.
