From April 22nd to 23rd, Professor Aman, Chairman of International Union of Food Science and Technology and President of IPMI International Business School of Indonesia and former President of IPB University visited FPNU. Liao Shenji, President of FPNU warmly welcomed Professor Aman. Persons in charge and teacher representatives of Department of Personnel, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Food and Bioengineering, Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint Research and Development Center, China-Indonesia Industrial Cooperation Research Center participated in the related activities.
On the morning of April 23rd, our university held an appointment ceremony of visiting professor in the conference room of the Science Building on Wumashan Campus of FPNU, appointing Professor Aman as the visiting professor of School of Food and Bioengineering.
President Liao Shenji presented the appointment letter of visiting professor to Professor Aman.
President Liao welcomed and thanked Professor Aman for his appointment as a visiting professor of our school, briefed the basic situation of our school and reviewed the cooperation between two schools since the signing of the cooperation framework agreement. He hoped that two schools could deepen understanding, strengthen exchanges and achieve fruitful cooperation results so as to make contributions to the implementation of the China-Indonesia "Two Countries Two Parks" project and the joint building of China-Indonesia community with a shared future.
Professor Aman briefly introduced his personal and academic experiences as well as the basic situation of IPMI International Business School and International Union of Food Science and Technology, and expressed thanks for the invitation to visit FPNU and the appointment as a visiting professor.
Later, the seminar on the construction of the Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint Research and Development Center was held. As the deputy director of the center’s academic committee, President Aman earnestly joined in the work research and discussions, and put forward lots of insightful opinions and suggestions on the construction of the center, the cooperation with FPNU, joint construction between the university and local enterprises, teachers’ further study, students' cultivation and other respects.
On the afternoon of April 23rd, Professor Aman visited Lin Shaoliang Exhibition Hall of Fuqing Overseas Chinese Hometown Museum, Saneheld (Fuqing) Food, JD,etc under the accompany of relevant principles of FPNU
