On May 25, Kevin Geoghegan, Vice President of Griffith College Ireland, led a delegation to visit FPNU. Tu Rong, Party Secretary of FPNU, met with the delegation cordially. Jiang Xingshan, Vice President of FPNU, together with heads of relevant departments including the Academic Affairs Office, International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and the School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Jiang Xingshan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced FPNU’s development history, educational characteristics, geographical advantages and programs. He noted that FPNU attaches great importance to cooperation with Griffith College. Building on the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier by both sides, we aim to prioritize the implementation of the joint program for artificial intelligence talents. Given the strong compatibility of disciplines such as accounting and finance, business studies, journalism and communication, as well as law between the two institutions, he proposed that both sides further explore cooperation across broader fields.
Kevin Geoghegan briefed attendees on an overview of Griffith College and its flagship programs, expressing anticipation for future bilateral cooperation. He hoped to deepen collaboration in joint program, faculty and student exchanges and joint scientific research.

Both sides held in-depth discussions on specific details of cooperative projects. During the visit, the delegation toured the laboratories, practical training bases of the School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence as well as FPNU’s partner institutions.
