On the afternoon of September 22nd, Dr. Cui Fan, Secretary-General of the Russia-China Friendship Association Educational Science and Technology Development Foundation, and his delegation visited FPNU. Lai Hairong, the Secretary of the FPNU Party Committee, warmly received Secretary-General Cui Fan in the Linfeng Hall of Lin Lianxing Science and Technology Building and had a discussion. Vice President Jiang Xingshan, former President of Fujian Vocational College of Art, Professor Tang Wenzhong, Director of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Center Yang Huilin, Director of the Russia-China Friendship Association and Executive Vice President of the Hungary-China Friendship Chamber of Commerce Yang Lanzhong attended the discussion.
Secretary Lai Hairong extended a warm welcome to Secretary-General Cui Fan and his delegation, and briefly introduced the current situation of school running, characteristics of majors and disciplines, and the construction of the new campus of FPNU. He expressed his hope that Secretary-General Cui Fan could introduce high-quality educational resources from Russia that are suitable for FPNU to help improve the construction level of arts and sports disciplines and promote international exchange and communication.
Secretary-General Cui Fan provided a detailed introduction to the development process of the Russia-China Friendship Association Education Science and Technology Development Foundation, the Russia-China Education Working Committee, and the achievements made in the field of educational, scientific and cultural exchanges between China and Russia. He expressed his appreciation for the school-running philosophy and characteristics of FPNU, and expressed his confidence and expectations in facilitating active exchanges and cooperation between FPNU and high-quality universities in Russia.
The participants discussed cooperation in the fields of talent recruitment, student and faculty exchanges, and cooperative education. Principal officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the Office of Academic Affairs, the School of Arts and Media, and the School of Physical Education attended the event.
